Debbie Gower
Debbie has been leading the Centre of Technology and Innovation Excellence (Cotie) in Barnstaple since February 2020.
With over three decades of IT experience and a proven track record in innovation, Debbie brings deep expertise and strategic vision to her role.
Her background includes managing the UK Community Renewal Fund’s Promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship project and leading technological advancements in education for 14 years, where, among other things, she was an early adopter of 3D printing, Virtual reality, cloud technology and 1:1 devices. Debbie’s proactive approach and technical expertise have consistently enhanced IT infrastructure and operations.
Debbie has a strong interest in innovation, demonstrated by her collaboration with Google on piloting innovation in education and developing training modules to empower end users with new technology.
Her commitment to nurturing innovation and supporting local businesses drives growth and reinforces Cotie’s standing as a premier technology centre.
