Petroc would like to invite local employers to join us for an interactive afternoon of discussion, growth, and development in our brand new South West Institute of Technology and COTIE building. This event will be focused on opportunities for businesses to grow and innovate.

About the event
David Tytherleigh from Babcock International will be drawing on their experience of supply chain implementation and management. David will also highlight the range of opportunities that are available for local organisations to be a part of their supply chain.
Industry Workshops:1. Staff Wellbeing and HR - Join us to discuss interesting and innovative ideas for the continual managing of staff well-being, the transition to the new normal and hybrid working implementation with Michelle McCarten - Devon Communities
2. The Development of Skills and Work Experience - During this session we will discuss how to attract young people & local talent for future proofing your workforce, and the training routes available to you including the new T-Levels, Apprenticeships and Internships.

3. Technological Innovation in business - VR & AR implementation - This session will be led by the Petroc Projects team and Charlie from Mission Systems at Babcock International. In this interactive session we will discuss and display how technology can be used as part of your skills development and day to day business.
4. North Devon Biosphere - Sustainable opportunities for businesses - Rob Passmore will be discussing the implementation of sustainability and how to manage this during growth.
5. Q&A Panel session - David Tytherleigh from Babcock International will be leading this Q&A panel session to discuss their vast experience of supply chain implementation and management. They will be joined by one of the organisations who are part of their supply chain to give real world insight into how a small organisation can fit into a global supply chain.
