Tiverton Business Innovation Hub Business Breakfast

Exciting news! 

Petroc Official has just secured funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to create a Business Innovation Hub at the college’s Tiverton Campus on Bolham Road.

This state-of-the-art facility will be developed over the next two years and will include design space, rapid prototyping facilities, augmented/virtual reality labs, and traditional laboratory space, as well as hot-desking facilities, conference/meeting rooms, and spaces for businesses to connect with customers and supply chains both in-person and virtually.

Petroc is keen to hear from potential users and other interested parties to help inform their plans, so they invite you to come along to their Business Breakfast event on Friday 09 June 2023 from 8:00 am-9:30 am.

Not only will you learn more about the Hub, but you will also be able to help them shape their plans to ensure they meet your needs. Keynote speakers will present on relevant local topics, new business funding, and business support.

This Hub will be open to all start-ups and businesses, but they are particularly interested in supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses from the local manufacturing, engineering, agri-tech, bio-tech, and environmental sectors.

They are thrilled to be able to connect this new facility with us at Cotie Innovation Launchpad in Barnstaple (www.cotie.co.uk), which includes a development zone with 3D manufacturing technology, a conferencing area, open-plan hot desks complete with high-spec and fully-loaded PCs, a state-of-the-art cleanroom, and two design pods built to inspire collaboration and creativity.

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The Fund provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025 and aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK by investing in communities and places, supporting local businesses, and people and skills.
