UK Community Renewal Fund
Promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship (PIE)

This project will seek to utilise new digital technology (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality) and knowledge transfer to fast-track innovation and upskilling across businesses in Northern Devon.  A collaboration between Devon County Council, Petroc, Cotie, Libraries Unlimited (Fablab/BIPC) and TownSq (Node Cowork) to ensure a more joined-up and coherent offer around business innovation support.  This project will be delivered across Mid Devon, North Devon, West Devon and Torridge with West Devon and Torridge being the priority areas.

Promoting innovation and Entrepreneurship is led by Petroc in partnership with TownSq and Libraries Unlimited. It is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund, which is managed within Devon by Devon County Council

    This workshop is for adults 16yrs+. Places are very limited and booking tickets is essential. This workshop is only suitable for people who live or work in: North Devon, Torridge, Mid-Devon or West Devon. This is due to the funding for this CRF Project and the areas identified within the project.

The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.  It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment
