You are invited to UKCRF Innovation Expo North Devon 13 April 2022 13:00 - 16:30




Exhibitions, talks and business advice and support will all be available on the day. Although the event is around new technologies and innovation among other things business-related there will be companies to give you free advice on starting or growing a business. Advice and guidance on grant funding and protecting your intellectual property.


On the day you will also get the opportunity to sign up for many FREE courses being made available by local business support organisations, including but not exclusive to business accelerator programs, marketing, CAD design, 3D printing, 3D scanning and VR, 180/360 photography.


PROMOTING INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP


The UK Community Renewal Fund is a new government programme for 2021/22.


Promoting business innovation and development through new digital technologies across Northern Devon, focusing on those harder to reach in rural and coastal communities.

The project will seek to utilise new digital technology (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality) and knowledge transfer to fast-track innovation and upskilling across businesses in Northern Devon. We will also bring together Libraries Unlimited South West BIPC Devon, Fablab Devon) Cotie Innovation launchpad, Node Coworking and Petroc Official to ensure a more joined-up and coherent offer around business innovation support. This project will be delivered across Mid Devon District Council, North Devon Council, West Devon Borough Council Torridge District Council with West Devon and Torridge being the priority areas.

This initiative seeks to promote community resilience and pilot new approaches to support both business and people.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.’ This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
